In switch, for access point port configuration, it should be access vlan or trunk port, when I configure as trunk port for access point, AP is not getting associated with controller, but when I configure AP with access vlan, AP is get integrated with controller.
Please let me know how to configure AP point switch port as trunk or access port.

The LWAP access points are connected to access ports on the switch's configured for native vlan. The actual VLAN connectivity for client devices are connected across the LWAPP tunnels, not through a trunking port on the AP.

AP < -- > Switch = Access port
WLC < -- > Switch = Trunk
What error messages do you get? What is your firmware? What is the configuration of your management interface? Can you please post the configuration between the switch to the AP and the switch to the WLC?
