CUPC Softphone Status

Is the CUPC softphone supposed to show a missed call if the user answers the call from the hardphone?  Call comes in and they answer from hardphone, CUPC client shows the call as missed.  A call answered from the softphone works normally.  Both CUPC and Phone are associated to each user in the network.  CUPC client is 7.x along with CUCMBE and CUp whicha re both version 7.x

I think they will just as if you have a line on multiple hard phones, and answer on only one of the phones.

This is working as designed. You have a DN with two phone appearences in this scenario. The call will ring to both as with any other shared DN.

The user should change CUPC to Desk Phone Control mode which will provide you the behavior I believe you are looking for. The user could also disable phone control if they wish.
