cisco 9971 ucm 7.1.3

Hi,

We just got few 9971 phones and we were trying to configure them in our cluster although there is no drop down for 9971 phones, we tried to configure them as sip phones but still not registering correctly does anybody knows how to configure or add this phone to our cluster ? thanks, by the way our ucm version is 7.1.3, thanks

You will need 7.1(3a)su1

Cisco Unified IP Phone 8900 and 9900 Series

Before using the Cisco Unified IP Phone with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, you must install the latest firmware on all Cisco Unified Communications Manager servers in the cluster.

Note You can install Cisco Unified Communications Manager 7.1(3) or 7.1(3a). After you install one of these releases, you must install Cisco Unified Communications Manager*** 7.1(3a)su1. ***
