Please help
I have a Cisco 3845 version c3845-spservicesk9-mz.124-10.bin connected to a suppliers Cisco Voice gateway controlled by a CALL MANAGER
Problem:
Making a call over the SIP gateway to the ISDN Cisco Voice gateway(3845) integtrated(cross over ISDN cable ) with a ISDN Cisco Gateway on a Call MANGER.
Problem is there is no ringback to the Calling side but I am get a ALERTING message "RINGBACK." on the ISDN level
048888: *Feb 9 20:14:54.765 SAST: ISDN Se0/0/0:15 Q931: RX <- CALL_PROC pd = 8 callref = 0x8EE0
Channel ID i = 0xA98381
Exclusive, Channel 1
048889: *Feb 9 20:14:54.881 SAST: ISDN Se0/0/0:15 Q931: RX <- ALERTING pd = 8 callref = 0x8EE0
and now I am send this back to my SIP PEER aswell

Sent:

Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 192.168.0.14:5060;branch=z9hG4bK831p6d10185glk4b36k0.1
... THE call does complete .. Only NO Ringback.
Any assittance welcome.
I did come accross a CISCO artical not to use Voice class codec but I must use g729br8 else Vad are enable and calls If I don't use class codec this is what I get

Hi p.bevilacqua
Thank you for this info I actually tried all those options aswell but still no luck.. could it be a IOS or DSP issue ?
in The meantime I have forwarded this link on to the 3rd partyCisco (Call manager) provider aswell.
