Authenticating IOS WGB to WLC via EAP-FAST

Unanswered Question
Feb 9th, 2010

Hi All,

I note that in the WLC v6.0 config guide support for EAP-FAST is listed under the workgroup bridge configuration section.

Has anyone been successfull in getting this working ?  or have a config example ?

I've had limited success on setting up a WGB wto Auth via WPA2-PSK  , but no luck with EAP-FAST.

Documentation for this stuff seems to be a bit light on.

WLCs are 4402's running v6.0 with ACS 4.2 as my auth server.

Thanks,

Leon

I have this problem too.

Use this in your WGB config:

eap profile eapfast
  method fast

!

dot11 ssid
   authentication open eap eap_methods
   authentication network-eap eap_methods
   authentication key-management wpa
   authentication client username password
   dot1x eap profile eapfast

That should do it.

I've had success using a few different 12.4 IOS versions but not on 12.3(7)JA3

Also works with Dynamic VLAN Assignment from ACS
