Call Classification thru Unity

Unanswered Question

Here is the situation:

Calls are comming in on a PRI and are directored towards a call handler.   From there they can enter an extension for a user and be transfered to the associated phone.

The phone has a CFwd No Answer set for both internal and external....since this call is comming from an outside person we are expecting it to follow the external path.  What we are seeing is that it is following the internal..

if we create a DID and send it directly to the phone then it correctly follows the external setting.

How can we fix this so it works correctly after going thru the auto attendant?

We are also seeing the same thing if you replace the call handler with a live receptionist....if she transfers a call to a user it follows the internal setting.

Is it possible to fix these issues?    I can understand why it would possibly choose the internal CFwd since an internal device is fowarding it to the device, but from a big picture it is still an external caller.

I have this problem too.

In reference to CUCM 7.x here...  Go to System -> Service Parameters and change Always Display Originianl Dialed Number to true.

The call has always appeared correctly on the phone's caller ID, which is what it looks like this setting is for.    I tried this setting anyway, and it didnt change the call classification.
