Hi all,
I need help with regard to a problem with my network architecture. Briefly, I explain the scenario: I have a set of hosts attached to a switch. Each host belongs to a specific VLAN.
My need is to preserve the VLAN sequence even if one host of them fails by the association of the next host with the failed host VLAN.
This change must be fast because the traffic is delay sensitive.
Could anyone help me to understand a solution?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
Giuseppe.

Hello Giuseppe,
I am not sure if I understand your question. Can you explain further?

Hi Reza,
sorry if I couldn't explain well but I don't know the reason because the VLAN has to be preserved.
The important thing is if there is a way to performe that. I thought at VMPS or 802.1X but I'm not sure.
Do you have any idea how to do that?
Thanks a lot.
Regards,
Giuseppe
