Hi all

is it possible to get my wireless clients to connect without a wpa password, for guest logins ?

I have this problem too.

It depends.  If you want the guest users to be using TKIP or AES encryption then they will either have to do 802.1x authentication or use a PSK.  If you aren't worried about encryption then you could do webauth if you have a controller environment.

Hi There

how will my wireless connect when using webauth, does that mean the traffic is unencrypted ??

will my pc automatically connect to the wireless when there is no auth set on the controller ?

If you want the traffic encrypted you will need to use a key of some sort, whether its EAP authentication or a PSK.
