Hi,

I have installed a windows us with french local and LMS 3.1. When I try to upgrade to LMS 3.2, it failed because locals were french. I changed local to us, and now I can install LMS 3.2.

I would like to know if I can keep this installlation or do I need to reinstall the OS with regional/local us and then LMS3.2 ?

Thanks, Elisabeth

LMS is only supported on US English and Japanese locales.  The server cannot be using a French locale.  LMS will not install, and TAC will not support such configurations.

I would like to know :

1. if I installed US OS with french local, it is enough to change local to US or do I need to reinstall the OS with local US and then perform LMS installation.

2. if I installed US OS with french local with LMS 3.1, then I change local to US is it supported or do I need to reinstal US OS with US local +
LMS ?

1. If you installed a US OS, then changed locale to French, it is sufficient to change the locale back to US English, then install LMS.

2. Yes, this is fine.

2. if I installed US OS with french local with LMS 3.1, then I change local to US is it supported or do I need to reinstal US OS with US local +
LMS ?

2. Yes, this is fine.

=> I'm sorry, what is fine, both or :

2.1 if I installed US OS with french local with LMS 3.1, then I change local to US is it supported

2.2 do I need to reinstal US OS with US local + LMS

Setting the locale back to US English would mean you would not have to reinstall the OS.  The only thing that would require an OS reinstallation is if you installed a non-US version of Windows.
