SR520 Firmware upgrade

Do you have to have a SMARTnet contract to upgrade the firmware on a SRE520? If not how can you go about doing it?

A service contract is required to download software/firmware updates for all SR520 models. For most SR520 models, a SMARTnet contract may be purchased. However, for the SR520-T1-K9 model, a Cisco Small Business Pro product, a Small Business Pro Service contract should be purchased.
