Is there a Simulator available where I can do labs for practice before I take the IPS certification exam?

Sorry, but there isn't any IPS simulator.
The last version of IPS OS that could be "Franken'ed" was 4.0
The beast you can do is rent some time on a testbed with IPS for your experience.

No simulator that I'm aware of but if you are a Cisco partner remote labs are avaible from Cisco Partner Education.

Hi,
Download Cisco IPS Manager Express 7.0.2 from Cisco site,
There are many simulated sites in the demo where you can practise your Lab sesions.
