Hello Naidu,

egress policing is supported only in the context of a priority queue defined in CBWFQ + LLQ

see

Egress Policing

The ES20 line card supports egress port policing only when paired with the priority command.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/7600/install_config/ES20_config_guide/bald_qos.html#wp1347431

and

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/7600/install_config/ES20_config_guide/bald_qos.html#wp1448697

the last provides an example. It is just a way to police traffic before using the LLQ queue in order to avoid starvation of other queues.

So your policy-map that would like to only perform egress policing with no queues configured is not accepted.

To be noted that you may consider to use shaping instead that is supported

Hope to help

Giuseppe
