Hi all,

Can we get 2 port fix STM-1 OC3 interface module (port adapter) for 7200 VXR or do we have to buy separate SPF for it ??

Help will be appreciated.

Uttam

Hello Uttam,

current 2 POS PA uses external SFPs

see

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/routers/ps341/product_data_sheet09186a0080145f66.html

the same happens for 1 port PA current version.

I agree that older PA had built-in optics I remember to have used them

see end of life notice

note: it is clearly stated that you need to order SFP separately no default bundle exists.

Hope to help

Giuseppe

Dear Giuseppe,

Thanks for your help. Yes, VXR 7200 supports 2-Port OC-3/STM-1 Packet-over-Sonet port Adapter and SFP is separate and that you have mention the 1port STM-1 EOL. Thanks for you kind help.

Regards,

Uttam
