how to free RAM

hello,

I have ASA 5540 , ASDM 8.0

my RAM is usage is 70%

I want to free how i do and what i do step to free it.

Disable threat detection. There are known issues with TD causing memory leak issues.

sh run threat

and copy and paste the lines in conf t mode with a "no" in front of them.

Hi..

in my command prompt i didnt get any threat, so what i do next.

my asa work in multiple mode and i checked in both steps..

multiple context does not support TD so, that is not it.

If you would like to find out what process is consuming memory and not releasing, I suggest that you open a TAC case so they can collect memory stats and figure that out.

There are a few mem leak issues in the code and you are welcome to upgrade to the latest interim in the train to see if that would reslove the issue.

If I were you, I'd open a case and get it investigated.
