I plan on patching to the latest SR on a UCCX 7.X system. None of the agents currently have administrative rights to their own PC. What is the minimum amount that I can do to ensure that they automatically upgrade. Is it as simple as just giving them full rights to just the ~Program Files\Cisco.... folder or is there something additional?
What is the best approach?

Hi
I'd say you have a few options:
1) Manually visit each PC and log in as an admin, and allow the auto-update to wor
2) Give the users admin rights (the SR will install via an MSI, which could include file and registry changes, drivers etc and I think even if you opened up rights to all the right places the Windows Installer service would still not allow the install to proceed with a non-admin)
3) Deploy the SR MSI using SMS or AD automatically... you can find the service release file on the server once you've upgraded it
Most customers either fall
