Cisco SNMP Logs

I have some Cisco SNMP logs I am analysing. Associated with the interface there are ifInOctets and ifOutOctets which are the number of bytes of data received and sent on the interface.

For each client connected, there are awcTpFdbSrcOctetsImmed and awcTpFdbDestOctetsImmed which are the number of bytes received and sent per client.

Does anyone know why it is that the number of bytes sent/received from the interface is much higher than that sent/received by all the clients? In an example with one client connected, the interface has sent/received 0.2MB but the single connected client has only sent and received 20KB!

Thank you!
