Hi,

I have configured the PXE Server with Symantec Solution on Windows Server. The PXE clients that are working on same subnet they are working properly. I have PXE clients working on different subnets, they are using WAN connections but they can’t connect to PXE server.

I receive this error: PXE-32: TFTP open time out

The DHCP configuration that I’m using is:

ip dhcp pool DATOS
   network X.Y.31.0 255.255.255.0
   bootfile BStrap\X86pc\BStrap.0
   default-router X.Y.31.253
   netbios-name-server X.X.10.225
   domain-name .XXXXX.com
   dns-server X.X.10.225 X.X.37.225
   option 66 ip X.X.10.204

This configuration is not working, do you have any example that is working?, do you have any idea ?.

Thank you, best regards.

Hi,

If they are not in the same subnet, then try adding "ip helper-address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" and  test again

HTH

This way I should create tha DHCP server on another LAN, which is the diference with DHCP server local an IP Helper for testing it ?.
