Blocking downloads of certain file types

Hi Experts,

Our customer is using Ironport S360 version 6.3.1-025 and wants to block the following types of downloads:

*.avi
*.bat
*.cmd
*.com
*.exe
*.jar
*.mov
*.mp3
*.mp4
*.msi
*.vbs
*.wmv
*.wsh
*.dll
*.pif
*.reg
*.wav
*.csh
*.ksh
*.scr
*.shs
*.wsf
*.ws
*.wsc
*.vbe

is it possible to do this via custom mime types, if yes, how do i address these file types?

Hi Kumar,

A lot of these file types are available for blocking directly without the need for custom mime types,

if you click on an access policy and objects, check the Object and MIME type reference for a list of what is available.
