Has anyone done this and if so, were there any issues?  I have the partner/site ID's and was going to set it up until I read somewhere that Meeting Center would only work with CUPC if the WebEx Meeting Center server was local.  Is this true and why would it matter?

I think you posted it in the right place, did anyone ever get back to you on this, I am in the same boat and am

wondering the same thing.  I can't seem to get my WebEx to integrate with CUPC.  I found out my Site and Partner ID

but the field in CUPS is asking for a IP or Hostname which makes me believe it is meant to be

a local server?  I am not able to find much dicumentation on this, have you made any progress?

Just so you know I opened a TAC case and here is what they said after a little probing.

Configuring the Cisco Webex Meeting Center Server

Note: The Cisco Unified Personal Communicator conferencing feature only
supports a local Webex Meeting Center server, where the server is
located on premise (onsite) in the enterprise.

Sorry man it looks like I am sticking with MPX for now.  I have heard through sales that the newer releases of CUPS will be able to use federation and supposedly allow you to use WebEx hosted services though.  We will see once I upgrade to UC version 8.X on all appliances.

Good luck!
