Likely faulty circuit.

You can loopback the circuit using the coax cable on one side, and quickly see what is the truth.

To double prove that, repeat loopback on the other side.

Then call telco on premises and have them to prove you with their test equipment, they must arrive to the same conclusions.

kindly post your show ip ospf neighbor. i agree, try to do looptest with your service provider in order to isolate.

Thank you .

the telco provided a loopbacks .

I was able to ping w/ 0x000 , 0xffff, and 0x1111 to one side of the router.

I was able to ping w/ 0xfff and 0x1111 to the other but when pinging w/ 0x000 I get .......UUU...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..................!........UU....!!!!!!!

what does that mean

Thanks

You may have an issue with interface, can you looback it with a local cable and try.

I did a loopback to local interface and I was able to run 0x000 and 0xffff.

External cable loopback ? Make sure you have clock internal when doing it.

no I am not at the location , I only looped the inteface

config t

inter x/x

looback local

Must do hardware loopback for proper testing.
