we're currently having this issue: one of our users, using a Cisco 7970 IP Phone, is randomly unable to hear his conversational partner. That means that for example two calls are ok but then the fith has this issue. Then the next call is fine again, but the following two have this issue. And so on...
Until now I unplgged her phone to make it reboot afterwards - problem still occurs
Then I reset her phone - problem still occurs
Since we don't have a spare 7970 I cannot switch the device to test if it's the phone which makes the problem.
Does anybody of you know this problem and even how to solve it ?
We are running Cisco Callmanager 4.3 on a Windows 2003 server.
