Cisco FWSM ASDM issue

Hi,

I am able to login to FWSM ASDM, but the GUI page after login is not coming.

It get stop after Software Update  Completed.Please find the attachment.

What will be the cause? Please help.

Hi,

can you check that FWSM cpu usage.because we too have the same kind of problem because of high cpu utilization.

other than that check the ASDM image status in both primary and secondary FWSM module.

Anil,

Make sure you are running the latest java on the client. Pls. go to http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp and get the latest java.

Also check

sh run http

and make sure the client IP has permission to access via asdm

Make sure you are running the correct asdm version for the OS on the FWSM.

Hi,

from implementation to till yesturday, It was working fine and there was no issue with the ASDM.All the things are in place like Java, Permission for https connection etc.

then also we have a issue with ASDM.Please find the attachment.

I have uploaded the new ASDM image and its working; don't know why?

Why it was not working working with old ASDM image?

Anil,

Depending on what windows update your client recd.  we have seen issues like this and that is the reason I suggested to upload the latest ASDM and java on the client.

We have not done any thing on the client machine.
