ISDN PRI is not working with CISCO 3845 router

Hi,

I have configured the 3845 router for IDSN termiantion, but I could not get calls or take out goign calls. I am getting error as " temporary failure (41)" when I run show call history voice brief. Also I am running CME on the same router.

Any hints to resolve this...

Hi Neethan,

Please confirm the below points:

1. Check the incoming and outgoing is enabled at ISP side

2. Check the ISDN status on router

Use the following command to check the ISDN Status:

Router# show isdn status

3. Check the DSP resources on router

Use the following command to check the DSP resources:

Router# show diag

Router# show inventory

4. Check the current IOS for any bugs.

Use the following command to debug the ISDN calls:

Router# debug isdn q931

Please send the output of both the commands to find out the root cause of the issue (If possible the Router configuration as well).
