UC520 3 sites installation

Hi,

I just recieved the Items for a UC520 Project which consist's of three sites and now I'll start the configuration, so in order to make this threat helpful for every body I'll post all the steps and problems that I'm going to face during the installation. for now I have the follwing questions:

  1. is it possible to configure the FAC feature for multi levels (I mean for some users the (00-number) and (0-number) is allowed and for some others only the (0-number) is allowed and for the rest no Zero is allowed.
  2. is it possible to make a limitation for the maximum allowed calls between the branches (for example: each site can only make 4 calls to any other site), I'm asking for this because the customer has (512 Down / 512 UP) for each site and the customer don't want to lose all the bandwidth for the Voice only and lose the data bandwidth.
  3. should I make any Quality of service configuration on the routers ?

please provide the best response so every body get some good information here.

For question number 1, do you actually want FAC or just restrictive dialing per user?  This can be done with corlist.

For question number 2, you can use call threshold.  Look here for more information relating to this command.

For question number 3, I would highly recommending having QoS outbound, but also inbound (which your provider will need to do).  There are several documents on QoS.

Lots of good informat there, but it is also a long read.

Hi there ,

Thank  you for the great information in the above links.

i have another question, let's say that we have a situatin where all the FXO ports are busy and 3 users are trying to make a call, can I give a proiority for a user in picking up the first line becom free ?

Hi,

and another point, let's say that i made a NACF (Not answered call forward) to another extension , is it possible that if the other extension did not answer this call comes back to my Voice mail (for the original extension) ?
