How to create a new user account to logon to the "Unified Contact Center Express Administration" webpage

Hi,

In our installation:

Unified Contact Center Express Administration for Cisco Unified Communications,

Cisco Application Administration - 7.0(1)_Build168,

Package: Cisco Unified CCX Premium

Today we can open the web-page http://10.10.x.x/appadmin/main and log on to the webpage with an user account that several users use to administrate users, assign skills and so on, in the contact center.

This is not very nice, so now I would like to create a new user account, so every user has his/her own user account to log on with.

But I can not seem to find anyware in the webpage where I can create a new login-user account; only administrate existing users and assigning skills.

How do I create a new log-in user account?

Kind regards,

Carl-Marius

Carl-Marius,

You will need to create the user in CUCM first.  If you want the user to be an agent or supervisor, you will need to assign an IPCCX Extension to the end user configuration page.  If you just want to add another admin account then you can simply add the user in CUCM.  Once the user is added, then go to your UCCX server ('AppAdmin') and assign privileges.

So, it is a two step process.
