Hello,

our customer wants to buy an NSS2000 2bay NAS, but he wants to use 2TB drives of the 24/7 class. So we selected the WD20EARS drives, but they are not in the compatibility list from June 2009. Are newer drives tested or these drives already used from anybody? Can our customer use these drives as RAID1?

Thanks, and best regards

Andreas

The WD20EARS 2 TB is qualified to use with all our NAS product (NSS2000, NSS3000, NSS4000, NSS6000). We will be updating NAS AVL list shortly.  This new drive qualified by Cisco testing team two weeks ago.
