hello, my ip cam (arecont vision product) is keeps shutting down after 5-10 seconds, i check the power inlin auto in cisco switch 3550.
anyone knows how to solve this problam ?? thank.

And how many watts of power does your IP camera need? 5-10 seconds sounds like it's not getting enough power and constantly rebooting.

my camera needs 48 watts, of course i want to use the PoE connection on my switch because i don't have any room for power suplly.

A 3550 can only deliver 15.4 watts of PoE power per port max. So, there you go.

Class 4. Yikes! You need a mid-span PoE.

It would be more cost-effective to just use the power brick there, brother.
