LWAPP with AP and AC communicating over L3

Unanswered Question

When the Access Point (AP) and Access Controller (AC) communicate over an IP network (using UDP):

1- Is the MAC address of the AP's wireless clients known at some stage by the Access Controller?

2- I do not have a clear picture about DHCP (for wireless clients) in case the DHCP server is not at the AP itself.

    - Is DHCP relayed onto LWAPP just as any other user data message?

    - I assume the AC can work as a DHCP relay. Correct?

I have this problem too.
