CISCO877W-G-A-K9 |
CISCO877-SEC-K9 routers?
|
I tried a PWR-800-WW1= and it wouldn't fit into a
CISCO877W-G-A-K9. The connector plug is bigger than the one in the router.

Hello,
The PWR-800-WW1= is for Cisco 800 sries (801-804 namely) - you could check:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/routers/ps380/eol_c51_484922.html
For 87x you would need:
PWR-850-870-WW1= Cisco 850/870 series external AC power supply spare
It is just a brick and when ordered it
requires the country specific cord (if you don't have one yet).
For example, the CAB-AC2= for the 87x routers (AC Power cord North America).
Thanks,
Sergey

Sergy,
Thank you very much.
Just as the link you pointed out for PWR-800-WW1= is there a link on CCO pointing to PWR-850-870-WW1=
Regards
Alphonse

You are being told by a Cisco employees, from the Cisco official price list:
Part number: PWR-850-870-WW1=
Description: Cisco 850/870 series external AC power supply spare
You do not need any other link for this information.
Better would be to rate Sergey's post for what is really worth: 5 stars and Solved mark. I certainly did.

Hi,
Indeed, the GPL Description is quite self-descr. Didn't saw the pn described explicitly on cco.
Most likely, cause when you order the cisco87x (or some others 800 series) it is already comes with power supply.
You just need to choose proper power cord (you migh confirm this w cco dynamic configuration tool).
So normally you do not need to order it separatly, might be only when its fails and you need a RMA.
Also you could just google for "PWR-850-870-WW1=" and you would get a lot of 3-rd parties links
with some more details. One example for Cisco 800 Series could be:
http://www.cablesandkits.com/cisco-800-series-replacement-power-supplies-c-232_63_411.html
Thanks,
Sergey
