How to know the version of Skinny use on CCM 6.1.2

Hello all,


Is there a way to know which version of the protocol skinny is use on my CUCM 6.1.2 system ?


Or I can just assume that it's the latest ?

It's likely not the latest which is SCCP version17 I believe. Version 17 was not integrated

with CUCM until CUCM 7.x. Have a look at this excellent doc from Wes Sisk @ Cisco;

thanks for the tips!


I did a packet sniffing and the sccp version in the packets were not shown... kinda strange!


I had to extract the information via the Hex dump!
