Dear all,

All routes which i configured on my PIX 515E are:

route outside 1
route outside 1
router rip
default-information originate
distribute-list default_rip_out_acl out interface inside

But, when i mahe sh route i found the following:

Primary-PIX-HO#    sh route

Codes: C - connected, S - static, I - IGRP, R - RIP, M - mobile, B - BGP
D - EIGRP, EX - EIGRP external, O - OSPF, IA - OSPF inter area
       N1 - OSPF NSSA external type 1, N2 - OSPF NSSA external type 2
       E1 - OSPF external type 1, E2 - OSPF external type 2, E - EGP
       i - IS-IS, L1 - IS-IS level-1, L2 - IS-IS level-2, ia - IS-IS inter area
       * - candidate default, U - per-user static route, o - ODR
P - periodic downloaded static route

Gateway of last resort is to network

S [1/0] via, outside
R [120/1] via, 0:00:03, inside
R [120/1] via, 0:00:03, inside
R [120/1] via, 0:00:03, inside
R [120/1] via, 0:00:03, inside
R [120/1] via, 0:00:03, inside
C is directly connected, inside
S [1/0] via, outside
                                [1/0] via, outside
C is directly connected, faillan
C is directly connected, outside
S* [1/0] via, outside

from the last output results, how network has two entries form this line [1/0] via, outside
                                [1/0] via, outside
I got confused so much.

From the output of your config, there's no static route to configured on the PIX.

Can you post the output from the ''show run route''?

It apears like ECMP - (equal cost multiple path) but, how it got into the routing table as static route, I am not sure.

Are those the only two routes that you show when you issue "sh run route" or you see more than that.
