hi! when i try to kvm into one the cisco blade svr using ucs manager, i see only a black blank screen. kvm ip pool has been configured and there's only one svr that i can kvm into but see the black blank screen. the server itself is powered up and working fine, just that i'm not able to kvm into it. what could be the reason for that?

There were some KVM issues with earlier UCS code. Try upgrading to the latest UCS code 1.1.1x. What you can also do is reset the BMC when this happen.

by resetting ibmc will that restart the server? That server is running quite a few of live VMs. thanks.

highly recommend you to upgrade to the latest firmware which significant improve VS the version 1.0

It will not reset the servers. BMC has independent to your server.
