ASA-AIP-20-INC-K9 signuture update problem!!

Dear All,

we are using the IPS version 6.1(1)E1 (IPS-K9-6.1-1-E1) and the latest version of the signature update is S338.0

on Cisco site it looks like for the signature updates S338 is the latest version but when i connect to my device the sensor health shows critical and in the details i see the signatures updates is old and event retrieval not retrieved!!!!

any recommendation?

Signature updates have latest version corresponding to each Engine version. Since you are at E1 version the signature update stopped at S338 level. The Engine E2 version has the latest signature update version of S364 and E3 has the current latest version of S475. That may be the reason why sensor health shows the sig update as old version. To get a latest sig update upgrading to higher Engine level may be considered.
