Interface Discards

Dear Experts,

I am getting too may errors and discards on my gig interface!
what might be the possible reasons? How to fix it,
Load on the link is low but still problem persists
please help

Send the complete "show interface" and "show run interface x/x".

There can be any number of reasons.  Please post a show int to give us a clue.  Also, on load ... remember this is an average load over a time interval.  Even if the load appears to be low, you could still have had some very high peaks during the interval.  Again, a show int please.
