We
have one site from which all the incomming calls comming with the first character of the caller id stripped .On ip phone we get the id as
example : ohn instead of john
Need help please if any one

first letter missing in incoming caller name display
1. Change the switch-type in the IOS gateway to Primary-dms100
2. Change the switch-type in gateway's configuration in the CallManager configuration to primary-dms100
3. Ensure that the option 'Send Extra Leading Character in Display IE' is checked in the gateway's configuration in CallManager.
4. Test inbound calls for correct caller name

I am using ccm 7.1 there i dont have this 'Send Extra Leading Character in Display IE' in phone configuration can u please help us we are still facing problem

You can always switch to H.323 and have the problem resolved immediately.
