I am setting up a VPN for a client, they have a leased line from ISP using Cisco router 800 series with ADSL port, it is setup with 1 VLAN with real IP address 62.68.59.161, I have setup my ASA5505 as a VPN with IP address 62.68.59.164 on the outside port and the inside network is 192.168.1.0.

All settings look ok. This is the problem I am having, when I use a Cisco VPN client it is unable to find the security device at 62.68.59.164. I am unable to ping this port, even though I have enabled IP on the port. I am able to ping 62.68.59.161 which is the router port.

Anything I am missing? Please help.

I have this problem too.
