what does set spantree guard none mean

Hi all,

quick question  on cat os 6509 what does command

set spantree guard none  do??

Please explain this to me

It is to do with whether or not you enable STP rootguard and STP loopguard on a port. If you configure "set spantree guard none" on the port then you are effectively disabling both rootguard and loopguard on that port.

it disables spanning-tree  guard on that port

none

Disables the spanning tree guard feature.
