CCNP books for new exams

Unanswered Question

I have heard that cisco press books are not the best for the new CCNP exams; what is your experience, or what books do you prefer? I need to pick up some study materials soon and would like to get some feedback on this. Thanks in advance.

I personally like the Cisco Press books. While I will admit some of the older books were difficult to read the newer ones are far better. I would recommend the following book as must have for not only learning but day to day work. "Cisco LAN Switching Configuration Handbook", It gets right to the point on what command mean and what they do, very easy to read and understand. I am currently half way through the "CCNP TSHOOT Offical Certifacation Guide" and so far it is great. Another that is easy to read and understand while it is quick to the point but also goes in depth so you understand the topic. Now with that said I also read others and uses some others study guides to cover all bases.

HTH...please rate any posts that help.
