I have an aironet 1200 series AP model AIR-AP1231G-A-K9. The IOS is 12.2(13)JA4 Boot Loader 12.2(8)JA

I am trying to upgrade the IOS using c1200-k9w7-tar.122-13.JA4 using ATFTP server. I am using linux and have setup a tftp server

I know the tftp server is working fine and am using this walk through from Cisco and I cant figure out why it wont upgrade from the console.

I have this problem too.

What error messages are you getting?  What command did you use?

If you can CLI to the AP then use the archive command:

archive download-sw {/force-reload | /imageonly | /leave-old-sw | /no-set-boot | /no-version-check | /destination-system stack-member-number | /only-system-type system-type | /overwrite | /reload | /safe} source-url

I usually use archive download-sw /f /o tftp:///
