Hi

When traffic is passed via the GRE Tunnels packets are dropped. As the bandwidth are unequal I am using EIGRP
Currently running EIGRP between Tunnel routers and OSPF between VPN Router to Core.  Physical links are ok, no error on interfaces.

If I run only tunnel at sales_office then no drops. load sharing is required on two tunnels. i have plugged the configuration to the post.

Once drop concern are fixed will add IPSEC to it.

please do input

Hi

Is it possible some ios doesnt work well with EIGRP loadbalancing.

VPN router1 at DC : Version 12.4(9)T7   ( advanceEnterprise )

VPN router2 at DC : Version 12.4(9)T7   ( advanceEnterprise )

VPN router at SO : Version 12.4(24)T2   ( advanceEnterprise )

Please support

I would request you to apply the tweaks  on the tunnel interface and see the results.

IP MTU 1400

IP Tcp adjust−mss 1300

There are issues with IOS .

But we need to correct the configuration part first.

In my experience I would say not to use unequal cost load balancing with GRE as it will create lot of out of order packets.

Hello Parthiban

Adding these command didnt help

IP MTU 1400

IP Tcp adjust−mss 1300

when you say not to use unequal  cost load balancing with GRE

what I need to eleminate from my configuration.

If unequal cost load balancing is an Know Issue then what is the other major reason to move to EIGRP over OSPF

Hello Experts

I am still stuck on this, help please.

Hi,

What type of load balancing is running on EIGRP.

Is it per packet or per destination?

I have tested GRE over Ipsec with EIGRP ...two 100 MBPS links with per packet load balancing with 0 Drops.

can you share your sample working config.

Hello Netpro

What is recommended for unequal loadbalancing ( per packet / per destination ) with EIGRP

I am stuck on EIGRP part.
