Alerting name when forwarding

Hi

We have the following issue:

We got a DN (CTI route point) that we use for internal emergencies, this is forwarded to our receptionist. When we dial this DN it should show up with "emergency" on the receptionist phone.  Currently it shows up the internal DN from the calling party

Retain forward information is set to true and also always display original dialed number but it still shows the calling party instead of the alerting name of the emergency DN


Any ideas how we could achieve this?

Its by design sorry to say.  Its been requested by many in the community for Cisco to change this CUCM, but not yet.  You can search the forums for others who have similar issues.  (CTIs)


Im not sure, but you could try and create an IP phone, put it on call foward all and see if the name shows up you want?
