ip sla source interface

Hi all,

I am trying to create a test multicast stream with the following command on my C6500 SUP720:

ip sla 1

udp-echo 239.240.1.1 12001 source-ip 192.168.1.100 control disable

frequency 5

timeout 0

This works.

However, even when i specify 192.168.1.100 (lo0) address as SOURCE, i still see the switch generating multiple copies of the stream,

one for each ip interface. So because my switch has portchannel interfaces po30, po31 and vlan300 ip interfaces, i see multicast with a source ip of po30 po31 and vlan300 in addition to a stream with source ip 192.168.1.100

Is this normal behaviour and anyone know how to prevent this ?

I want to create a multicast packet on each interface, but all with a source ip of lo0

regards,

Geert

PS. I am running 12.2(33)SXI1
