CNAM Calling Party Name

Unanswered Question


We have a UC520 on a PRI with a CLEC using NI-2. Our CLEC is unable to override our calling party name to show our business name. So currently all our phone calls outbound just show our office #, but no business name.

If we use NI 1, it will send our extension name as the calling party name. Is there any way to override the name so we can put our business name in that field? We don't want our customers to see our staff names, but rather a global name we can set.

The Incumbant is Telus. Unless anyone knows someone at Telus that we can call to get our name and number added back to their CNAM database?

This is not possible for outbound calls on CME. This parameter has to be set by your PRI provider.
