Hi Team,
I have got a couple of questions regarding AP541N antennas:
1. Which type for the antenna connectors ? BNC or RP-TNC ? According to the doc:http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/access_point/csbap/AP541N/quick_start/guide/AP541N_QSG.pdf , it states they are BNC connectors (page 2) and also states they are RP-TNC connectors (page 11). Could you confirm ?
2. Are those antennas upgradable ? Any recommended antennas ?

Hi Henry,
Yep the antennas sure look like RP-SMA, great pickup It's definetly not a BNC or TNC connector..
From what I gather, the Laws are such here in the US that we would be breaking FCC part 15 regulations by putting higher gain antennas on the AP541.
If you have trouble sleeping one night, take some time to read FCC part 15 and sub clauses or it's new variants.
