Hi,
I'm running IPM 4.2.0 (LMS 3.2) on Solaris.
I configured a new operation called 'NEWPING'. The operation's configuration is attached.
Basiclly, it suppose to ping a target and whenever there is a timeout of 2 consecutive pings then raise a threshold and alert (via trap).
I noticed that as soon as the first timeout occures, the source is sending a trap without waiting for the second ping to timeout (as per the operation definition).
My source router is running Cisco Catalyst 6509 Switch with IOS (tm) s72033_rp Software (s72033_rp-IPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.2(18)SXF13, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1).
This is how it is configured on the device:

I noticed the same operation works just fine using a different source:
Cisco Catalyst 4506 Switch running Cisco IOS Software, Catalyst 4500 L3 Switch Software (cat4500-ENTSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.2(52)SG, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
Did anyone know why it is not working properly on the 6509? Is there a workaournd or way to make this work?
Thanks,
Amit
