Dear All,

We are new to UC platforms. Can anyone explain difference between vic modules:

vic2-2fxs

vic3-2fxs/did

vic-4fxs/did

WHat does the first number stands for 2, 3 .. ?

and what is possible to do with modules that support DID?

Best Regards,

Lukasz

Sorry, I should have said the number indicates Generation when in the prefix like VWIC2-xxx or VWIC3-xxx

like this EOS announcement about the FXS/DID:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/modules/ps3129/eol_c51_514041.html

SOme general info about T1/E1 too:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/routers/ps5855/prod_qas0900aecd8028d2e5.html

Thank you for information.

Could you also explain diffrence between FXS modules that support DID and those that doesn't?

Br,

Lukasz
