Hi,
The hunt group is not working properly.
Call comes in to ephone-dn 10 (reception) if no answer goes to 65 which is the hunt group.
It does not reach 7710. It rollers over to second dn and then call drops. If I delete the list and add only one dn, it works.
Can some one tell me why the hunt group in not working when I add more than one dn?
This works, it ends up in 7710 greeting.
ephone-hunt 1 sequential
pilot 65
list 25
final 7710
timeout 7
Add second dn after ringing call drops and does not hit the final 7710
ephone-hunt 1 sequential
pilot 65
list 22, 25
final 7710
timeout 7, 7
Full config attached.
Thanks,
Solomon

Last night I updated the IOS to 12.4(22) YB5 and phone firmware to 8.0(10). It did not fix the problem. I deleted the ephone-hunt and created voice hunt-group. That fixed the problem.

Strange. Voice hunt-group should not have nothing to do with ephone-hunt.

I am just say that the ephone-hunt did not work and as a work around created a voice hunt-group.

Can you try
ephone-dn 25 dual-line
no ephone-hunt login
And same for 22.
Then, show ephone-hunt

Solomon,
You are missing "HOP" command under ephone hunt...
set it to 2 that way it will go over both numbers 22 & 25 before hitting the final number 7710 (voicemail for ext 10)...

No "hop" command exists under ephone-hunt.
I have many installations like that and all do work without any problem.

There is HOP command under ephone hunt.
Solomon has it configured as sequential and under sequential Yes there is no need for hop, but if its set to PEER or Longest IDLE then yes its there
I didn't see initially that he had it configured as sequential... :-)

That is exactly what I said in the last post....
HOP command is not allowed under sequential type ephone-hunt
BUT if you set the ephone hunting to PEER or LONGEST IDLE its there try it....
