Grounding of 3750 switch

Does a single catalyst 3750 switch placed in a wood cabinet requires grounding as well?

The Power coming to switch is already properly grounded.

I have this problem too.

As per the cisco docs they suggests that equipment should be grounded.check out the below link for 3750 switches starup guide for further information.
