CIPC and USB device conflicts

Has anyone else seen some USB printers fail after installing any USB audio device ( Plantronics headset or ClearOne Chatbox) ?

We had an installation with CIPC and some chatboxes and some headsets- a certain Dell printer stopped working once we had added the devices to the USB ports. and they stopped working even after we removed the softwares for those ?!

Just wondering if this is a commonly seen issue or just an odd occurrence...

I searched our case database and internal newsgroups and I couldn't find something that matched your problem description. Some old cases talked about Win98 and the "File and Printer" sharing settings causing some CIPC problems, but not the opposite.


I would say that you open a TAC case.
