Digital certificate

I know this forum is a cisco  but my question is related to the Certificate Authority that we use for our wireless authentication with a Cisco equipment and we currently have a digital certificate installed in one of our radius servers and it expires every 2 yrs .

i wanted to create a digital certificate that will be valid for more than 2yrs but when i try to generate a certificate from the CA duplicating a new web server template and changed the experiation date for example to 10 yrs it doesn't take affect .

Any ideas how can i change the 2 yrs default experiation date on the windows 2003 Certificate Authority.
